Passionate about French Wine and history long hot sunny days and excellent food!!! Our wine tours not only give you the chance to visit some of the region’s best wine producers but also numerous opportunities to discover the cultural and historical aspects of the South of France. All tours are custom designed and are available in Languedoc Roussillon, the Rhône Valley, Burgundy, the Loire Valley and Provence. The first vines were brought to Languedoc-Roussillon by the Romans (circa 118 AD). And they grew and prospered during the next 2000 years and the history of Cathars, the construction of the Canal du Midi, the modernisation of the country, and revolt of the vignerons which changed the course of wine history in the region. One thing that remains the same is that the south of France has never lost its magic, charm and warm welcome by a people that are proud of their heritage which is fiercely protected in this beautiful region which boasts 300 days of sunshine per year and rich traditions.
